Bantham Beach

The surf conduits are reliable yet often have the influence of the strong winds and the shift in the sand back of the River Avon, at the mouth of which this beach lies.

Putsborough Beach

This stunning, privately owned beach is a sheltered one, considered to be one of the safest in North Devon. If you’re a beginning in the sport of surfing, this safe beach would be a great place to learn and get started. As it is protected by the headland the surf is smaller so for less experienced surfers it’s a great option. Croyde Bay

The best beach breaks can be found at this bay in North Devon, even rivalling the beach breaks of Cornwall. Croyde Bay is strong competition against Newquay as the most popular surfing spot and that high praise is well deserved. The faster waves are perfect for short boards, with fantastic barrels taking over the sea at low tide.

Lynmouth

This location is one of the secret places of North Devon, better suit for the brave surfers challenging themselves with a winter surf. In the right conditions, you can expect to catch some awesome waves but with the offshore winds and large waves, it might be a spot that’s better suit for the more experienced surfer. When the break is working, these expert surfers flood the area, creating an awesome atmosphere and authentic vibe.
